Hint

Hint came to Digg looking for offbeat, voicey content ahead of summer 2018. I pitched, wrote and produced three branded content pieces as a part of a five-piece campaign to promote Hint’s bottled water and sunscreen products. The client was pleased with the way these turned out, and I was too.

 

How To Beat The Heat And Have A Dope Summer

A fun, quirky, slightly-tongue-in-cheek service story. I maintain that if you followed this guide closely, you could easily have the greatest summer of all time.
This was an efficient way to show off both of the product sets Hint was promoting: its bottled water and its scented sunscreen sprays.

2018 Smells Like It’s Gonna Be A Summer To Remember

A quick hitter focusing on Hint’s scented sunscreen sprays. I got to try them all out and write about how much they rule. I also got to use the phrase “we're not your mom and we don't want to cramp your style.”

The Secret Sauce To A Healthy Burger: Better Condiments

True Made Foods asked for a one-off branded content piece to advertise its ketchup and sauces leading up to Memorial Day Weekend. Not only did I pitch, write and produce this piece, I also shot and edited all the creative myself. This was my first experience leading a food photography shoot, and I think it turned out pretty well. The client made zero edits and was very happy with the final product. Also yes, that’s ice cream on top of a burger. It makes sense if you read the story, I swear.

Make The Smartest Bet On Your Block This NFL Season

MyBookie asked for a one-off branded content piece to promote its sportsbook website ahead of the NFL season. The client was happy with the piece, save for my prediction that the Cleveland Browns would have a losing season. They advertised with us a handful of times and we were able to use this branded piece as the landing page for their campaign more than once.

Oh, and the Browns ended up 7-8-1 for the season.
